The collection combines AHA and BHA cleansing, a gentle-release 2% salicylic acid toner, 10% niacinamide with peptides, beginner-strength retinal, a mattifying moisturiser and daily SPF50+. The products work together to support clearer-looking skin without overlooking hydration and skin-barrier care.

Your morning regime

1. Dispense Clarifying Foam into the palm and massage over a damp face and neck.
2. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat the skin dry.
3. Apply Press & Clear once daily when first introducing it. Hold a facial pad over the pump, press down 3–4 times and sweep over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
4. Apply Niacinamide Peptides over the face and neck and allow it to absorb.
5. Apply Balance Moisturiser if additional lightweight hydration is required.
6. Finish with 5 pumps of Advanced Day Ultimate Protect SPF50+ over the face and neck.
7. Reapply sunscreen when required, particularly after swimming, sweating or towel drying.

Your evening regime

1. Remove makeup and heavy sunscreen first where required.
2. Cleanse using Clarifying Foam, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
3. Apply Press & Clear if your skin is comfortable with twice-daily use. New users may prefer to keep this step to once daily.
4. Apply Niacinamide Peptides over the face and neck.
5. Once the skin is dry, apply 2 pumps of Crystal Retinal 3 evenly across the face and neck, avoiding the eyelids and direct contact with the eyes.
6. Finish with Balance Moisturiser where required.

Comfort tip: If dryness or irritation develops, use Press & Clear and Crystal Retinal on alternate evenings until your skin becomes more comfortable.

How to introduce the active products

1. Patch test each new product at least 24 hours before first use.
2. Begin Press & Clear once daily and increase to twice daily only if comfortably tolerated.
3. Use Crystal Retinal 3 twice a week for the first 2 weeks.
4. Use Crystal Retinal every other evening for the following 2 weeks.
5. Progress towards nightly retinal use only when the skin feels comfortable.
6. Reduce the frequency of the cleanser, toner or retinal if persistent dryness, tightness or irritation develops.

This collection contains Crystal Retinal, a vitamin A product. Medik8 generally recommends avoiding vitamin A during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use Crystal Retinal while pregnant or trying to conceive, and seek advice from your GP, midwife or healthcare professional before using the collection while breastfeeding.

Do not combine Crystal Retinal with another retinol, retinal or prescription retinoid unless advised by a suitable professional. Avoid applying the products to broken, inflamed or actively irritated skin.
